DVD Description

Ancient curses, all-powerful monsters, shape-changing assassins, scantily-clad stewardesses, laser battles, huge explosions, a perfect woman, a malcontent hero--what more can you ask of a big-budget science fiction movie? Luc Besson's high-octane film incorporates presidents, rock stars, and cab drivers into its peculiar plot, traversing worlds and encountering some pretty wild aliens. Bruce Willis stars as a down-and-out cabbie who must win the love of Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) to save Earth from destruction by Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg (Gary Oldman) and a dark, unearthly force that makes Darth Vader look like an Ewok.

Lesson for the future

I like sci-fi action thrillers and this one is near the top of my list. It wakes the senses, makes you think and keeps you entertained. There's enough going on to keep your mind active, while impressing the viewer with superb special effects. The acting and writing take the film above the typical eye candy found to be the focus of many sci-fi movies. The Ultimate Edition includes a second DVD that's well worth watching. It contains many interesting, entertaining bits that make The Fifth Element experience that much better. I highly recommend the film. Even if you're not a sci-fi fan, the movie has mass appeal that anyone can find to be a fun theatrical ride.

THIS HAS IT ALL...

... it has Bruce Willis heading a great cast, the ever struggle between good and evil, spectacular sets and costumes, gay humour and not the least Gary Oldman and the increadable Diva Dance....

It has an intelligent script and Luc Besson has borrowed the best inspirations from the American movietraditions....

A PG-13 movie for kids!!

Come on!! This movie is for kids!
The bad guys look silly, the evil boss is stupid and looks LAME, the violence is not so graphic, there a lot of funny stufs, the good guys look also silly except for the main character (the girl), there are many action-comedy scenes and the story is simple and interesting.

The reason that this movie is PG-13 is because of the girl that dress almost naked, brief nudity and some sexual content. THAT'S IT!!

I gave this film 3 stars because I didn't like it! Bruce Willis make's me want to throw up! This is one of his worst actings ever! Maybe the movie would be better if he wasn't there!

Adios.
