Ahh yeah I remember this.. the TEASER TO THE MOVIE!

ok so yeah the movie started being shown in promos on TV I was obsessed with MK 1 and 2 on my SUPER NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM oh yeah and then WAL-MART had this 8 dollar video cassette that promised a MK cartoon and behind the scenes footage of the new MK movie

and it had it..

pretty groovy stuff the computer generated fight sequences with KUNG LAO and GORO were cool

and the cartoon was pretty cool but man it was such a TEASE I wanted so much more whcih I eventually got in the movie..

I wish they had put the stuff from this VHS into the DVD of the first MK movie

but I own it so it's all cool!

Masterpiece

This film is simply one of the most powerful ever made, starring the ultra sexy and talented Bridgette Wilson and Christopher Lambert as Rayden, my favorite male character in the video game series. Yes, I agree Super Mario Bros was a great film but this is the ultimate film for an ultimate game. The acting, the story, the special effects, everything is just perfect. My favorite scene is when Sonya do a battle against Kano, we can see how she is sexy with her nice breast.

Mortal Combat

This was a pretty good film for a video game movie.Paul S. Anderson is a pretty pathetic director but he came through with this one.There are some plot holes though. Sub-Zero and Scorpion working together? Scorpion hates Sub- Zero! There really is little to complain about in this movie though.
One thing that may have angered people was that the movie was PG-13.The main thing people liked about the Mortal Combat series was the fatalities. You can't good fatalities in a PG-13 movie!I liked this movie alot but being a big Sub-Zero,Reptile and,Scorpion fan i didn't like their deaths. I mean Sub- Zeros death was blind luck on Liu's part.
All that aside the movie also has great fight scenes as well. The first fight between Liu Kang and the black guy was cool.The Sonya Kano fight was good(even though it was short). The Liu ,Reptile fight was pure gold too. Lets not forget the final fight Shang Sung vs. Liu Kang.
All in all this movie has flaws but none should stop you from picking this up.Just don't play MK 1,2 or 3 before watching this.Reptile rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
